ABOUTASHLEY
Aloha and Welcome to Aloha Holistic Therapies Site!

ALoha my name is Ashley. I am a passionate Holistic Therapist with a BTEC Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology, who would like to take you on my journey so far as a therapist and how Aloha Holistic Therapies started..

To begin with I can honestly say massage has changed my life along with my family & friends!
Its incredible powers to heal, inspire and enrich your mind are really quite a journey. That journey started with Essentials for Health in 2008.  After lots of studying and hard work, the goal of a BTEC Diploma in Holistic Swedish Massage and Anatomy & Physiology was archived in 2009.

As a complete novice when I started and  Quite honestly overwhelmed to begin with!
Looking back now smiling to myself at my complete lack of knowledge of massage but mostly the great human body.
A teacher called Caron Ladkin  who changed life forever with her continuous motivation and commitment to teach, taking my inspiration to a whole new level with her wise and credited knowledge in A&P. It made me want to learn every single day!
Caron's Holistic approach with everything she puts her energy into still inspires me today, learning from a great and passionate Therapist with over 20 years experience was a true honor. My love for massage, the human body and holistic therapies has only grown and I continue to learn and broaden my knowledge as each year passes.

Over time gaining experience through working on site as a voluntary Massage Therapist for Charity marathons, spending two years working in spa's such as The Sanctuary, Covent Garden and Nirvana Spa. I gained valuable experience and standards whilst working in these environments but the main thing that was learnt was the knowledge that to give a real true to heart healing treatment I would need to work from home.

Then after a soul searching travel trip with my partner of 12 years part of which we spent time in Maui Hawaii.
It was clear once  home, it was time to start up my own healing sanctuary...
As a very passionate therapist wishing to
give the time that is needed and beneficial to each person, so  in 2013  'Aloha Holistic Therapies' was born!
From that time in Hawaii I truly believe that the 'Aloha Spirit ' is a positive way of which life can be approached. Now taking this with me through my own way of living and even into my own unique treatment technique.

'Aloha' in the Hawaiian language means Love, Affection, Peace, Compassion and Mercy.'
A positive and truthful way of living life.

Over the years I have qualified in various different massage styles giving the opportunity to really Taylor make each individual treatment for each person depending on their needs in that moment. In 2016-2017 I gained a Diploma in TCM Orthopedic Acupuncture through studying about the mysterious Meridian System that runs through our entire bodies. Learning how this Meridian System is our life giving energy force and also how when stimulated by Acupuncture treatment can help aid our natural internal healing process.

Aloha Holistic Therapies Welcomes YOU for  an Aloha Treatment and to find a treatment style that suits your body, mind & SOUL.
Thank you for visiting AHT site and reading about how it all started!! I hope to see you for an Aloha Treatment soon!

Until then...
'Mahalo Nui + Live Aloha'
Big Thanks and Live with Love, Affection, Peace, compassion and Mercy.

**UP AND COMING INFORMATION**
Again Thank you for reading about the start of the Holistic journey of which all began in 2008. It has not stopped and I continue learning about the great human body, with that knowledge I have taken this into my own lifestyle helping myself and my Loved ones keeping to our optimum health. Another big part of my learning journey also started in my early 20's as I began to practice YOGA. I now practice daily and share knowledge of yoga and movement as much as I can. It has become so clear to me that along with our regular healing treatments keeping movement in the physical body and creating space in our minds is a very important. This is part of keeping a healthy spine and further to that MIND/BODY/SOUL connection.. & can proudly say I am fully Qualified from Sam Rao Yoga Teacher Training School in Nov 2021!
